Chaos Mix
October 2020
A 30 min mix of Italo, house and synthesiser music with visuals mostly created using a Gieskes 3-trins, Vsynth/Max, Cinema 4D, found footage and processing in After Effects. Made for the Chaos Judder Doof Fest stream on Twitch.

Utility filter for Instagram, built in Spark AR. Four orientations, plus a golden sunset LUT and skin smoothing for the front camera.

Typeface design using Illustrator and Glyphs. Full set of Roman uppercase, lowercase, numerals and symbols, with ligatures.

I wanted to spend weekends creating in non-digital media, so signed up for a brutalist sculpture class at - where else - the Barbican Centre. Here are a few of my pieces exhibited in their shop.

Brutalist Lines
April 2018
Inspired by (clockwise from top left) the staircase at the University of Melbourne, London's National Theatre, The Wyndham Court housing block in Southampton and a vent from the Arlberg Tunnel in Austria. A version of these appeared in the Central Saint Martins window exhibition to promote their short courses, a few of which I attended when making the switch to a more visual career.
